This is one of my favourite recipe books. It's got 100 pizza recipes of all sorts and kinds to bake and eat!
I want to cook all the recipes from this book (except the ones that have ingredients that I know I don't like at all)
This table is to keep track of the recipes I made and my impressions about them.
I try to go in order according to the book, but I might skip ahead so I can use whatever leftovers I had from previous ingredients (not gonna let half a cheese or a vegetable to waste!)
Oh yeah, in case you find some descriptions funny, I am a recovering picky eater. I love A LOT of bland-tasting foods and that's both a blessing and a curse.

Number (by the book) Pizza Name Star Ingredients Category Opinion
1 Margherita Pizza Tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese (couldn't find it so I used emmental instead), basil, olive oil Veggie A humble, yet delicious pizza, great for parties because it pleases everyone's palates. I added too much garlic because I forgot the measures in the book are meant for 2 pizzas, not 1. Keep that in mind next time!
2 Veggie & Goat Cheese Pizza Tomato sauce, soft goat cheese, zucchini, aubergine, garlic Veggie Interesting tasting pizza, I usually don't like these vegetables but work well here sliced thin with a potato peeler. I like goat cheese in small quantities. It doesn't melt much unlike mozarella or emmental, so it's important to spread thin slices all over.
3 Olives & Goat Cheese Pizza Tomato sauce, soft goat cheese, olives (I used black), cherry tomatoes, herbes de provence Veggie Oh wow, these are definitely some of the best ingredients to put together with goat cheese. Together they taste so good! I was afraid of the cherry tomatoes because I'm not much of a fresh tomato fan, but if you pick good quality ones there is nothing to fear.
4 Florentine Pizza Tomato sauce, spinach, black olives, egg, grana padano cheese Veggie Well, I didn't expect to like this pizza as much as I did, because I was worried the egg & spinach wouldn't cook well. Drying cooked spinach is still a joyless activity, tho, but it's fun to dip the crust into the egg yolk.
5 Veggie Quattro Stagioni Pizza Tomato sauce, red & green bell pepper, black olives, mushrooms, mozzarella cheese Veggie A classic, colorful, delicious classic, but some of the secondary ingredients ruin it. I should have drained the artichokes, otherwise they turn the sauce into soup :( Why do capers taste so chemical? As always, mushroom pizza stands tall.
6 Artichoke, Brie & Thyme Pizza Tomato sauce, red onion, artichoke, brie cheese, thyme Veggie Yikes on bikes. I drained the artichokes this time and it turned out way better, but I can't stand the brie cheese - strong cheeses just taste like rotten in my mouth. Do you think I'll like it better if I cut off the rind first?
7 Mushroom, Gruyere & Garlic Pizza Tomato sauce, garlic, mushrooms, gruyere, parsley Veggie Oh wow, gruyere must be the strongest flavoured cheese I like: it's very stinky, but it tastes very good. I especially like bites with lots of mushrooms!
8 Pizza Quattro Formaggi Tomato sauce, mozzarella, blue cheese, cheddar, brie (without rinds) Veggie This is a great way to try new kinds of cheese. I was right, removing the rinds of brie make it more bearable and very tasty. Mozzarella and cheddar are tried and true classics. I can't with blue cheese. It tastes vile. Blue cheese is nothing but cheese filled with mold. I am terrified of mold. There are three more recipes in this book with blue cheese but I'm skipping them because no matter the ingredients, blue cheese will bury them like the tsunami of disgusting moldy horror it is.
9 Pine Nut & Raisin Pizza Tomato sauce, mozzarella, capers, raisins, pine nuts Veggie Hm. While I'm not against adding a sweet tasting ingredient to pizza, I don't think raisins is the way to that. I do like pine nuts on pizza tho. Or maybe I just like pine nuts a lot. Capers have been rinsed & drained this time, but I still don't like them very much.
10 Dry Tomato & Ricotta Calzone Tomato sauce, ricotta cheese, dried tomatoes, dry aromatic herbs Veggie A pleasant surprise! Ricotta cheese is so good wtf. I wish the tomatos were even drier tho, but overall this is a very nice recipe, and calzones mean portability.
11 Spicy Mozzarella Pizza Tomato sauce, buffalo mozzarella, red onion, green & black olives, chilli powder Veggie This one was alright. I used half the recommended amount of chilli powder because a significant part of my family doesn't like spicy food much. It turned out pleasantly spicy without being overpowering, and the buffalo mozzarella was delicious. Still, I think there must be a better recipe using these ingredients in this book somewhere.
12 Varied Veggie Pizza Tomato sauce, mozzarella, asparagus, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes Veggie Oh, this one was simple but enjoyable, except for one ingredient: artichoke. I do not know if it's because it's not artichoke season and thus I've been recurring to canned ones or because I simply don't like artichoke, but I've tried three pizza recipes with it and I don't find it particularly memorable. It's... just a soggy lump of sadness. Maybe next time I make this pizza I'll skip them.
14 Asparagus & Red Bell Pepper Pizza Tomato sauce, mozzarella, asparagus, red bell pepper Veggie Adam Neopets was right, asparagus tastes delicious and so does on pizza! If I get any more asparagus (asparagi?) I will definitely make this pizza again.
15 Blue Cheese & Pear Pizza Tomato sauce, blue cheese gruyere cheese, pears, watercress Veggie Well, since you know I can't stand blue cheese at all, I used the strongest cheese I can tolerate instead. It was alright, pear wasn't a very impressive ingredient. I didn't know watercress was this bitter, but if you let it heat on the oven for a few minutes it'll lose a lot of its bitterness
17 Grilled Zucchini & Feta Cheese Pizza Tomato sauce, zucchini, garlic, feta cheese, mint Veggie Two ingredients I find not quite of my taste make up a pizza that is not quite of my taste. Edible, but would rather make something else. Why mint of all things?
48 Spinach & Crab Pizza Tomato sauce, spinach, crab meat, red bell pepper, gruyere Fish & Seafood It's not a bad pizza by any means, it even tastes good, but I don't think I'll make it again. I don't know how to open a crab so I used some sort of glorified crab stick thing instead. I love spinach, but I'm starting to believe it doesn't quite belong on pizza.
74 Fajita Style Chicken Pizza Tomato sauce, cheddar cheese, chicken, red & orange bell peppers (I swapped the latter for green since I didn't find any), fajita spice mix Spicy Oh, this one was delicious and very fun to make. Dough asks for a little bit of smokey paprika, which tints it a lovely orange colour I can use to fool people into thinking I'm making homemade Doritos. If anything, I wish I added more chicken to this recipe (I didn't have much left). Also, what a time to discover I have the cilantro soap gene.
92 Halloween Pizza Tomato sauce, gruyere, red onion, pumpkin, thyme Special This is a surprisingly good pizza! I used roasted pumpkin and I spreaded it over the pizza, letting it mix with the tomato sauce. If you like sweet and savoury things this is a fun thing to try, and it's good for any time of the day. I'll definitely do this recipe again next Halloween, it's bound to be a new tradition.
84 Christmas Pizza Cranberry sauce, turkey, blue cheese gruyere, pepper Special This is like a simpler version of the Thanksgiving Pizza further below, which I'll make out of the spare ingredients I got from making that pizza. So it's a pizza made with leftovers from another pizza meant to be made with Thanksgiving leftovers. Also the sauce is all cranberry now, which combines well enough with the turkey and cheese but by itself is too sweet for my taste, so I recommend spreading the rest of the ingredients to cover the entirety of the sauce.
97 Thanksgiving Pizza Tomato sauce, gruyere, turkey, turkey stuffing, cranberry sauce Special This pizza is clearly meant to be assembled with Thanksgiving leftovers which is a challenge for me because I'm not USAmerican and I haven't celebrated Thanksgiving in my life. They don't even have whole turkeys available where I live. I had to use regular turkey breasts, make the "stuffing" myself (is it bread??? JUST bread and onions and spices???? people who say they LOVE stuffing are right tho this shit is oddly delicious) and had to use lingonberry jam instead of cranberry sauce because there's none where I live (weird, I thought "lingonberry" was a fun little made-up word from Kick Buttowski). A bunch of blunders and haphazard iterations later, the result was surprisingly good for a pizza that is 70% bread. I highly recommend adding fresh parsley on top of it because it will go great with the sweet flavour of the lingoncranberry saucejam. I guess this is my non-Thanksgiving tradition now.
